Is COVID-19 testing mandatory for UK arrivals?

Carl Last updated:

International travel restrictions have been lifted for all travellers returning to the UK as of 4am Friday 18 March 2022.

Holidaymakers no longer need to complete a passenger locator form (PLF), nor take any Covid tests on arrival in the UK. The rules apply regardless of your vaccination status, or the country you have been visiting.

Hotel quarantine is also being scrapped for passengers returning from red list countries.
